Park Model RV Manufacturers
Move-In / Move-Out Surcharge
Manufacturers of park model RVs who require RVIA crews to move-in and/or move-out park model RV units or assist exhibitor personnel with the move-in and/or move-out of park model RV units, are required to pay a surcharge of $200 per unit for this assistance. RVIA assumes no liability for errors in the set up of booths. It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to supply detailed and explicit plot maps and set up instructions. It’s recommended that exhibitors have a member of their staff available to supervise set up of the exhibits. Refund of move-in fees will not be made for any reason.
Exhibitors may move-in and remove their own units provided they do so in accordance with the move-in schedule issued by RVIA and all applicable show rules. Exhibitors, who perform their own unit move-in and removal, will be responsible for reimbursing the Kentucky Exposition Center, other exhibitors and/or service contractors for any damage to their property or possessions caused by this activity.
It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to supply products for exhibit that meet the boundary and height restrictions of their particular exhibit area. Refer to the floor plan mailed with your exhibit space contract for boundary and height information. Diagrams noting pole and distance dimensions as well as height clearances in booth areas is available upon request from RVIA or Freeman Decorating. Overhead door clearance information is also available. Product that does not conform to the boundary and height restrictions of the exhibitor’s booth will not be moved into the exhibit hall.
All Park Model RV manufacturers were asked in June to request or decline RVIA’s assistance during move-in at the time Booth Preference Sheets were filled out. The information given at that time will be used.
If you requested RVIA crew move-in your units, the $200 per unit surcharge was invoiced on your Exhibit Space Contract.
