20 Best RV Parks According to Yelp
The beauty of hitting the road in an RV is that you can park almost anywhere, but as any seasoned traveler knows, amenities like clean bathrooms and hookups go a long way.
The experts at Yelp ran the numbers, and they determined the best parks in the US, taking into account factors like volume of reviews and ratings.
Yelp Trend Expert Tara Lewis says that for most RVers, "Easy access to hiking trails and nearby attractions like restaurants and farmer's markets, along with amenities like fire pits, picnic tables, grills, and clean bathrooms, play a large factor in deciding where to park."
1.Bridgeport, California: Paradise Shores Camp
This full-service RV park and campground sits right on Bridgeport Reservoir, so you can park your rig and spend the days fishing and boating on the water. If you have the space, pack your mountain bike and hit the trails, or make the 45-minute drive to Yosemite National Park.
2.Mountain Home, Idaho: Mountain Home RV Park
Set squarely between Twin Falls and Boise is the Mountain Home RV Park, which offers overnight guests spacious concrete patios, shady patches of green space, and full hookups (plus, it's pet friendly).
3.Custer, South Dakota: Big Pine Campground
A night at Big Pine Campground will put you right in South Dakota's beautiful Black Hills. Plus, the park offers full hookups, a dump station, and enough foliage and trees to make your little corner of the park feel completely private. When you're ready to leave your new home, both Mount Rushmore and Custer State Park are around 30 minutes away by car.
