California RV Show Kicks Off New Venue With Large Crowds, Excited RVers
The 67th annual California RV Show opened its doors at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Calif., on Friday, October 4 and the heat couldn’t keep attendance down. A long line of excited show-goers were excited to tour the new, larger venue, which allows for more products, more attendees and more family fun that can be enjoyed by all. Based on the attendee traffic over the first half of the show, the venue certainly is delivering on that promise.
Through the first five days of the ten-day show, nearly 26,000 attendees walked through the doors, an increase of over 10 percent from 2018. It’s a testament to the continued growth of the lifestyle and a strong Los Angeles consumer RV market. The venue is also just flat out, cool, with a festival-type vibe with live music, amazing food from local food trucks, dogs and kids running around enjoying themselves.
With sounds of cars racing echoing from the track, thousands toured the latest and greatest RVs on the market, looking for the perfect RV to fit their lifestyle. This year’s event boasted over one million square feet of exhibits, including 1,000+ RVs and RV gear from hundreds of exhibitors. Beyond the RVs, the schedule was jam-packed with educational seminars and celebrity appearances. Seminars such as How to Travel with Pets, Camping Off the Grid with Solar and What’s it like to Travel in a Class B, were packed with attendees eager to dive into the lifestyle and make sure they’re well-equipped for life on the road.
The California RV Show is a great event where you can find a community of people from all walks of life, enjoying the outdoors and the products that help them create cherished memories. With half the show behind us, and a second weekend still to come (with amazing weather in the forecast), the 2019 California RV Show looks to be one for the record books.
