Current State Of What Is Open And Closed In The RV Industry
*UPDATED 6/3**
RVs allow people to travel where they want, when they want, and offer a unique travel experience that allows them to pursue their favorite activities, while connecting with family and friends, while still adhering to social distancing measures. Currently, states have allowed most RV manufacturing, dealer sales and service operations to open, however, in several states, RV parks and campgrounds have encountered more obstacles as they look to reopen.
To assist the RV industry with where campgrounds are open or closed, the RV Industry Association has created the following chart. Please note that many campgrounds and RV parks even when opened are required to follow stricter guidelines on social distancing, capacity and sanitation, and closure of common area amenities, such as playgrounds, pools, and bath houses.
The information in the charts will be changing frequently. Association staff will be updating the documents as new information is made available. As businesses reopen, they should follow the CDC's health and safety guidelines and all other applicable federal, state, and local health and safety guidelines. The chart is intended for informational purposes only and is not necessarily comprehensive. It is important to consult with your legal counsel on interpretation and applicability of the state's governor's orders and applicable state laws.
