Election Day Is Here
Today is election day. One of the most important responsibilities of all Americans is to exercise your right to vote. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to get out today and cast your vote.
In the coming days, as election results become clear, the RV Industry Association’s government affairs team will be analyzing the results and updating you on what those results mean for our members and the RV industry as a whole. The team has planned articles and webinars that will provide analysis and insights on what a change in Administration and/or Congress might mean, as well as what to expect in the event the current Administration stays intact. While it is likely the results of the election will change the political landscape, regardless of who is in the White House or which party runs the Congress the results will not change the policy priorities of your government affairs team.
“Our policy priorities are set by our members and many are bipartisan in nature, allowing us to cultivate strong relationships with policy makers of all political parties,” said RV industry Association Vice President of Government Affairs Jay Landers. “We will continue to advocate for a favorable business environment for the RV industry by focusing on campground modernization and expansion, trade and tariff issues, state franchise laws, and other policies that make it easier for consumers to buy, drive, and own an RV. The relationships our team has built at all levels of government will allow us to make progress on these priorities regardless of the election results.”
Stay tuned for post-election insights from the RV Industry Association!
