Get Ready For Advocacy Day 2023!

Mark your calendars! RVs Move America Week is right around the corner, scheduled to take place this year from June 4-8 in Washington DC. Hosted by the RV Industry Association, this annual event is an opportunity for the RV industry to collectively work to build a strategic roadmap to help define future growth of the $140 billion dollar RV industry.

RVs Move America Week’s longstanding cornerstone event, Advocacy Day, will be taking place that week on Wednesday, June 7. Attendees will meet with federal policymakers on Capitol Hill, forging relationships beneficial to the future growth of the RV market.

Advocacy Day is critical for our industry. But don’t just take our word for it! Hear what others have to say about the impact and importance of making our voices heard on Capitol Hill.

Advocacy Day covers a wide range of topics with legislators, says Jeff Rutherford, RV Industry Association Immediate Past Chair and President and CEO of Airxcel. “Everything from tariffs to the modernization and upgrading of campgrounds to public lands and national forests” is discussed on Advocacy Day.

“These are issues that are very important to the industry,” agrees Cory Nelson, Assistant General Counsel of Winnebago Industries. “They’re important to more than the industry. They’re important to outdoor recreation.”

“It’s good for America, it’s good for Americans, and now we have the opportunity to be here, talking to our Congresspeople and explaining our case about why the RV industry is such a wonderful thing,” adds Debbie Brunoforte, of Little Dealer Little Prices RV, a Campers Inn Company.
