Go RVing And RV Technical Institute Provide Training During RVDA Convention

Nov 2, 2020

When the RV Dealers Association’s 2020 RV Dealers Virtual Convention and Expo kicks-off next week, attendees will have access to workshops, vendor trainings, online discussions, and virtual networking opportunities. Both Go RVing and the RV Technical Institute will provide training for RV dealers on how to use community influencers to grow business, how to get the most out of the new Go RVing website, and how RV technicians can be certified on the only industry-wide credential.

ALL PR IS LOCAL: USING COMMUNITY INFLUENCERS TO GROW YOUR BUSINESS

Go RVing has reached millions of prospective and current RV owners through its extensive social influencer program. Join Go RVing’s Courtney Bias to learn how to identify potential social media allies in your community that can help you reach more qualified customers, create general local PR, and raise your dealership’s profile. Attendees will learn ways to work with influencers, how to use influencers to reach local media, and how to leverage Go RVing assets to create content.

This session will take place Friday, November 13 at 1pm.

A TOUR OF GO RVING’S NEW WEBSITE

Go RVing has just launched a complete redesign of its consumer and industry website. Go RVing’s Sarah Neely is leading an on-demand training that covers the new Go RVing website and the new industry portal. She will cover what can be found in the portal and discuss ways for dealers to get the most out of the new materials that are available. The session will include an overview on the items that can be accessed including the new advertising and marketing materials. Participants will also get a preview of the new images that are free for Go RVing program participants to use on their websites and in their own marketing materials. Dealers will be introduced to the improved leads management system as well as a new google analytics dashboard that allows industry users to view website behaviors and statistics in real time.

This session is on demand and will be available starting next week through January 21, 2021 for conference attendees.

THE PATH TO RV TECHNICIAN CERTIFICATION

The RV Technical Institute Executive Director Curt Hemmeler will talk directly to RV dealer principals on the business case for having certified RV technicians. He will give an overview of the new RV technician career path and the different ways an RV technician can receive the training. This includes attending classes in person at the RVTI headquarters, training through an Authorized Learning Partner, or even a test out option for experienced technicians. Curt will also explain the brand-new self-paced, online class which allows RV technicians to receive training at their own stride and at a time that works with their schedule. Lastly, Curt will close out the training by answering questions he receives most from RV dealers.

This session is on demand and will be available starting next week through January 21, 2021 for conference attendees.
