Go RVing Completes First Major Production Shoot Since 2019
And that’s a wrap! The first half of Go RVing’s first major production shoot, which took place in the Elkhart and South Bend areas, was wrapped in late October. It was the first “Real Vacation campaign” production shoot Go RVing has had since the pandemic began.
It was also the first time the team was able to work with our new agency, FCB, on new campaign resources. Go RVing spent a week in Indiana with 16 different RVs, shooting various scenes at Indiana Dunes, a football stadium, scenic roads, picturesque downtown areas, residential neighborhoods, and campgrounds. Dozens of scenes were shot featuring families, adventurers, couples, mischievous children, and excited football fans and all footage and stills will be used in various capacities in broadcast, digital advertising, social media, and print media.
“We couldn’t have achieved so much without so many members stepping up to provide a range of different RVs,” said Dana DelVecchio, Go RVing’s Senior Manager of Programs and Experiential Events.
The different units included Class As, Class Cs, large and small travel trailers, a teardrop trailer, a truck camper, a sport utility RV, a fifth wheel, and Class Bs. Another call for RVs for the January production shoot, which will take place in the western United States, will go out to members in December.
New creative content will start dropping in the spring of 2022 and additional resources from the shoots will be added to the Go RVing industry portal. All members interested in providing an RV for use in Go RVing’s national campaign should contact Dana DelVecchio at ddelvecchio@rvia.org
