Go RVing Generates Traffic From Recent Satellite Media Tour In New Mexico
The Go RVing team produced a satellite media tour featuring outdoors guru, single mom, and TV and radio host Misty Wells. The tour, which included 22 interviews with local and national television stations around the country, drove home key messages that RVing is a fun, flexible and affordable for families to enjoy the outdoors and form lasting memories.
“The thing I like best about RVing - no check-out time,” Wells told viewers. “When you’re in an RV, you’re in control. You can go where you want. You can stay in a campground or go off the grid. You can fix your own food and sleep in your own bed. It’s a great way for families to enjoy the comforts of home while having an outdoor adventure.”
The tour was hosted from the picturesque Red Rock Park in Gallup, N.M. During the preceding week, Wells took an RV trip of her own through N.M., which included stops at the White Sands National Monument, Roswell and the Billy the Kid Museum.
In addition to interviews with local and national media outlets, the media tour included an audio news release that received 2,350 broadcasts on radio stations around the country, a web feature article and a video interview with Wells that received wide distribution on the internet’s most popular. In total, the project generated 306 million impressions.
