Leader Of Tomorrow Award Finalists Shine A Light On Up And Coming Women In The RV Industry
The future of the RV industry depends on the cultivation of strong, creative, and hardworking women who will become tomorrow’s leaders in the our industry. In recognition of this, the RV Women’s Alliance is presenting the Leader of Tomorrow Award during this week’s Educational Symposium. The RV Women’s Alliance Leader of Tomorrow Award recognizes women who are making a big impact on the RV industry during the beginning stages of her career. Promoting the achievements of the up and commers in the industry, the Leader of Tomorrow Award is presented annually to an RV Women’s Alliance individual member.
"As we celebrate these rising stars in the RV industry, we're reminded that their bright talents and fresh perspectives are shaping the future of our industry. These women are not only breaking barriers but also elevating the industry to new heights,” said RV Women’s Board Member and Award Taskforce Chair Monika Geraci. “Their dedication, innovation, and unwavering commitment to excellence inspire us all. The RV Women's Alliance takes pride in championing these rising stars and is excited to witness the incredible impact they'll continue to make on our industry."
After careful review of many applications, the award selection committee has narrowed down the award nominations to the following five finalists.
Lisa Beebe, Airstream
Lisa Beebe has made a significant impact on the RV industry through her exceptional contributions at Team Airstream. Joining as a production associate in 2020, Lisa swiftly advanced to the role of Assistant Group Leader in the motorized division. Her responsibilities encompass product quality checks and troubleshooting, along with seamlessly stepping in for her Group Leader when needed, showcasing her strong leadership and interpersonal skills to maintain efficient operations. Lisa's remarkable teamwork, professionalism, and hands-on approach are highly regarded by colleagues. She consistently goes above and beyond, willingly assisting others and dedicating overtime as necessary. With her continuous skill development and pursuit of experience, Lisa is on a clear path toward becoming a successful production manager.
Hannah Corn, Lippert
Hannah Corn has made a profound impact on the RV industry, particularly at Lippert, where her journey has been nothing short of inspiring. When she joined Lippert, Hannah took the initiative and transformed the company's approach to social media, turning it into a content-producing powerhouse with a strong and effective strategy. Her unwavering drive, boundless passion, and infectious energy have propelled Lippert to a leadership position in the RV and related markets' social space. Beyond revitalizing social media efforts, Hannah has been a relentless advocate for change and continuous improvement, seeking opportunities to positively influence various aspects of the business. Her "never-say-die" attitude and commitment to achieving challenging goals have earned her the trust and respect of colleagues.
Jennifer Knowles, Matt’s RV Reviews
Jen Knowles has made an indelible mark on the RV industry through her exceptional contributions and unwavering dedication. Starting as a volunteer for Matt’s RV Reviews LLC, Jen quickly ascended to the role of Creative Director, where her talents shine in editing and content creation. With precision and technical expertise, she has meticulously crafted 365 RV reviews, elevating the channel's success with a remarkable 250 million views. Jen's creative prowess extends beyond YouTube, where she manages content across multiple platforms, amassing substantial followings. What truly sets her apart is her ability to handle behind-the-scenes operations, from graphic design to e-commerce management. Beyond her professional achievements, Jen's passion, work ethic, and commitment to excellence inspire her colleagues.
Chelsea Kreigh, Newmar Corporation
Chelsea Kreigh has made a lasting impact on the RV industry through her unwavering commitment to elevating, promoting, and educating others. Her leadership in Newmar & Winnebago's CommunityGO initiatives has raised awareness about the needs of disadvantaged communities. Chelsea's efforts have inspired increased volunteerism among team members, creating a positive impact beyond the workplace. As a member of Newmar and Winnebago's Inclusion Council, Chelsea has actively fostered a more welcoming and inclusive work environment. She initiated listening sessions to address workplace concerns, ensuring that the voices of women are heard. Chelsea's commitment to partnership, active listening, and participation in groups like Winnebago's Women Inclusion Network (WIM) and RV Women’s Alliance reflects her dedication to others' well-being. Her impact is evident as she continues to shape the future of the RV industry.
Brie Miller, Byerly RV
Brie Miller has made a remarkable impact on the RV industry within a short period. Her unconventional background in the restaurant industry didn't deter her from pursuing a career as an RV Technician. What set her apart was her Level 1 and Level 2 RV Technical Institute certifications, acquired out of her passion for fixing her RV and her determination to break gender stereotypes. In her three months at Byerly RV, Brie's transformation has been extraordinary. Despite starting with no prior experience, she quickly adapted to using tools and demonstrated exceptional progress. Brie's work ethic shines through in her willingness to assist colleagues, her commitment to learning, and her ability to provide valuable insights to fellow techs. Her positive reviews, improving flag times, and contributions to training and teamwork showcase her dedication and potential as a future leader in the RV industry.
The awards ceremony will take place this Thursday, October 12 at The Renaissance in Schaumburg, Illinois.
