ORR Holds Hill Briefing On Outdoor Rec Industry’s 2021 Goals

The Outdoor Recreation Roundtable (ORR) held a briefing with over 200 Capitol Hill staffers, leaders from across the outdoor recreation industry and members of the press on March 24 to highlight how the outdoor industry can sustainably capitalize on soaring participation rates for job creation and economic recovery, and particularly how recreation can create jobs in rural America. The group also discussed implementing the goals of the Great American Outdoors Act.

One of the panelists was the RV Industry Association’s Vice President of Governmental Affairs, Jay Landers, who spoke about outdoor recreation infrastructure and how to improve supply chain issues. He also highlighted ORR’s new economic development grant program for small communities.
