RV Industry Association Releases 2024 Annual Report

2024 was a year of significant achievements for the RV industry, marked by legislative victories, advancements in technical training and standards, impactful Go RVing partnerships, and the celebration of 50 years of growth. As a vital part of the thriving $1.2 trillion outdoor recreation economy, our industry continues to demonstrate resilience and a commitment to innovation. 

This is reflected in the RV Industry Association’s 2024 Annual Report, which covers the significant achievements from the past year. Highlights include:

  • A look back at several successful 2024 industry events, including the Leadership Conference, RVs Move America Week, a Workplace Safety Seminar, and the Aftermarket Conference.
  • The third annual All-Industry Volunteer Day hosted by the RV Industry Emerging Leaders Coalition. Over 300 volunteers participated in this event, demonstrating the RV industry’s commitment to service and collaboration.
  • Important anniversaries: the RV Industry Association celebrated its 50th anniversary and the RV Technical Institute achieved its five-year milestone.
  • The Go RVing team’s exciting partnerships, including a collaboration with Dreamworks’ Wild Robot movie and teaming up with inspiring figures like Olympic champions Shaun White and Shawn Johnson.
  • California's passage of Assembly Bill 1755, an achievement that underscores the importance of our advocacy efforts and our commitment to creating a more favorable business environment while also improving customer experiences.
  • There are now 997 dealerships with at least one RV Technical Institute-certified technician on staff. Additionally, 6,729 technicians have become certified. For comparison, the last time our industry experienced a significant increase in technicians was in 2008, when 4,233 technicians were certified.
