RV Technical Institute Attends Future Farmers of America Convention & Expo
The RV Technical Institute continued its recruitment efforts earlier this month by attending the 96th National Future Farmers of America Convention & Expo, which took place November 1-November 4th in Indianapolis, IN.
FFA is the premier youth organization preparing members for leadership and careers in the science, business, and technology of agriculture. The organization develops members’ potential and helps them discover their talent through hands-on experiences, which give members the tools to achieve real-world success. Members are premier professionals in many career fields.
The RV Technical Institute’s team notes that the Convention was a great success—there were a record-setting 72,954 attendees this year. These included high school students, with whom the RV Technical Institute shared information on the program.
In addition, the RV Technical Institute partnered with Walnut Ridge RV, who provided the unit (displayed left) during the Convention.
“The RV Technical Institute was excited to attend this year’s FFA Convention & Expo,” says Halle Edmister, the RV Technical Institute’s Account Specialist. “It was a great opportunity to share more information about the RV technician career path with the future professionals who showed an interest. We would also like to thank Walnut Ridge RV for providing the unit that was on display. Our team is looking forward to continuing our technician recruitment efforts as we head in 2024!”
