RVTI Technician Program Certifies Incarcerated Students To Fill Workforce Demand
Ten women serving sentences at the Linda Woodman State Jail in Gatesville are training to become RV technicians under a Texas Department of Criminal Justice pilot program through the prison system’s Windham School District.
“RV technicians are the third fastest growing career in the United States in 2020,” Windham School District Communications Administrator Amanda Coleman said.
The 10 women in the program, who are all within a year of release, will graduate from the program on Thursday.
