Submit Outdoor Recreation And Campground Projects Eligible For LWCF Funding
Last year, the Outdoor Recreation Roundtable (ORR) launched a survey in conjunction with Oregon State University’s Center for the Outdoor Recreation Economy to collect and map Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) eligible projects from the recreation community for the first time ever. Thanks to you, ORR received over 170 projects! It was an advocacy success, and now it’s time make our voices heard and collect projects for FY23-26.
We are specifically looking for your local campground projects that can be funded through LWCF. If you are aware of campground projects, please submit them into ORR’s database using the link below.
This survey collects both federal and state LWCF project locations, descriptions, their benefits to communities and environments, and other important details on shovel-readiness. It will be open throughout the month of September, and the results will be shared with agency and Congressional leaders to inform upcoming spending priorities and also incorporated in the Trust for Public Land LWCF Map.
