THOR Industries Donates Personal Protective Equipment
Helping healthcare workers, who are at the frontlines of the coronavirus crisis, has become an essential focus for our country. With an intent ear listening to the various needs in healthcare at this time, the RV industry has found various ways to offer its support – including providing vital supplies to medical teams.
Joining a large and growing list of RV manufacturers, suppliers and distributors helping to fight the fight, Thor Motor Coach donated personal protective equipment to Elkhart General Hospital.
THOR Industries and all of its subsidiaries are proactively taking steps to protect and support their global workforce and the communities in which they live and work. They contributed 270 N95 masks, 50 dust masks, and 100 Tyvek suits to Elkhart General Hospital. They also announced that to ensure that they are providing the most current guidance to employees and their communities, they are constantly monitoring updates from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), and other health organizations.
“In taking these actions, our priorities are to ensure the well-being of our colleagues and our communities,” Thor Industries said in a statement.
