Two Mark Wahlberg-Branded Dealerships Finalize Deal In Columbus

In a recent article from Columbus Business First, it’s been revealed that Columbus is getting another two Mark Wahlberg-branded vehicle dealerships.

The actor and businessman and his business partners Jay Feldman Monday announced the finalization of a deal for Haydocy Buick GMC and Haydocy Airstream & RV on the city’s west side.

Those dealerships now will be Mark Wahlberg Buick GMC and Mark Wahlberg Airstream & RV. The acquisitions were announced earlier this year but, like many things, were delayed because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Haydocy family had owned and operated the Buick GMC dealership since 1954.

“Columbus has been so welcoming, and it just made sense to grow our automotive platform here,” Wahlberg said in a news release. “The Haydocy family has been wonderful to work with during this transition and Jay and I are looking forward to doing big things here on the West Side.”

The deal gives the Wahlberg-Feldman group three Columbus auto dealerships. They acquired Bobby Layman Chevrolet and rebranded it as Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet in 2018. They’re also partners in multiple Wahlburgers restaurants including the first Columbus unit which is slated to be in the Hollywood Casino Columbus.

All three dealerships are hiring.
