What Will Dealers See At The Industry's First-Ever Market Development Event?
From March 12-14, the Calvin L. Rampton Salt Palace in Salt Lake City, Utah will play host to RVX: The RV Experience. Over the course of three days RVX will showcase the newest and most innovative products from the entire industry.
RVX is a promotional platform that will feature never-before-exhibited RV products unveiled to help dealers more effectively reach a new generation of consumers, from outdoor adventurers to family living. This is a showcase of what the industry is destined to become, and the industry’s leaders have some new and exciting ways to display their latest products. We recently spoke with a few industry leaders to find out what they’ve got in store for their dealer partners. Here’s what they had to say:
Nick Recchio, President of Coachmen
Booth #1501
“I’m most looking forward to the new energy sources and Class Bs at RVX.”
Coachmen will be displaying the 24A in its booth which features a new floor plan with a fixed bed and large storage beneath a fixed bed. For the outdoor enthusiasts, this floor plan is equipped with a Class B, industry-first, Polar Package Plus waterline and tank heating system. Coachmen will also be introducing its new “Phase Change” upgraded insulation package. This unit is also an option with its Li3-600AMP hour Lithium battery and under-hood generator that will run Coachmen’s Class B industry first 12V/20 000BTU A/C for approximately 10 hours.
Mike A. Terlep, Manager of Cardinal Limited and Cardinal Luxury for Forest River
Booth #1501
“We are excited to see what the next generation of our industry has to offer at RVX.”
Terlep’s team will be bringing their brand-new line up of the Cardinal Limited and luxury fifth-wheel lines. New features to keep an eye out for include power chord reels, interior/built-in vacuum systems, hidden TV storage and much more! These easy to clean features are extremely friendly to the needs of consumers. Representatives will be on-site and ready to greet dealers; show them all the bells and whistles and address any questions they may have.
Bob Rogers, Director of Marketing for Lance Camper
Booth #3839
Lance will be bringing two new concept units that will be seen for the very first time at a show! An all-new ultra-travel trailer prototype concept unit in the 20’ range will be on display, as well as an all-new truck camper special-build concept dubbed “Rule Maker,” based on the Lance 8555 Ultra-Light Truck Camper. The Lance display will feature an all-new layout designed around a new 20” LED lifestyle display wall, as well as an all-new “mini-studio” showing Lance Podcast episodes and social media LIVE events.
John Sammut, Vice President of Sales at Newmar
Booth #127
“We are looking forward to experiencing the overall feel and flow of the new event!”
Newmar will be introducing a new feature at RVX as well as a new finished product debuting at the event! Only four vehicles will be on display at their booth, one brand new product and three 2019 model year products, one of which will highlight a new feature never seen before in the RV industry! With a new show comes the opportunity to design a brand-new exhibit, and Newmar shared that they’ve got a few surprises in their display!
Chris Mandell, General Manager, Divisions 120/121, Forest River Inc
Booth #1501
“We are looking forward to the opportunity to showcase two new units as well as see how the show is received by both manufacturers and dealers alike.”
Forest River will be showing two new units at RVX. One is small and compact, as well as light enough to be towed by any vehicle with a 1500# tow rating. They’ll also be showing new models in both the camping and travel trailer segment. Forest River’s booth will also feature new updates as they concentrate on ample signage and point of purchase material to exhibit their product.
