White House Seeking Feedback On Bipartisan Innovation Act
White House officials will hold a roundtable with businesses in the Midwest to discuss the semiconductor shortage and how investments in the Bipartisan Innovation Act will spur U.S. manufacturing, strengthen our supply chains, and help lower prices for consumers – while advancing America’s national security.
This virtual roundtable will take place Thursday, April 14th at 1:30 CT / 2:30 pm ET. President Biden’s staff will give an update on the bipartisan, bicameral CHIPS for America Act included in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Act, that will invest more than $50 billion to accelerate and catalyze domestic leading-edge semiconductor production.
Attendees will have a chance to share with the White House how the shortage of chips and related supply chain disruptions are impacting their businesses.
