Summary

RVIA’s June survey of manufacturers found RV wholesale shipments finished above 40,000 units for the fourth consecutive month. Monthly wholesale shipments reached 47,416 units, an increase of 18.3% over the 40,072 units shipped in June 2016.

Through the first half of 2017, RV wholesale shipments have climbed to 256,430 units, up 13.3% over the 226,286 units shipped during the same time period last year.

All towable RVs, led by conventional travel trailers, totaled 42,240 units for the month, an increase of 20% compared to the 35,191 units shipped in June 2016.  Year-to-date totals for towable RVs are up 13.2% to 223,644 units.

June motorhome shipments are up six percent to 5,176 units, paced by strong gains in the Type C market.  Year-to-date motorhome shipments have reached 32,786 units on 14% growth over the 28,771 units shipped during the same time period last year.
