Summary

RVIA’s July survey of manufacturers found RV wholesale shipments finished at 32,936, an increase of 16.2% over the 28,350 units shipped in July 2016.  This represents the best July shipment total in 40 years.

RV wholesale shipments have climbed to 289,336 units through the first seven months of 2017 and are up 13.6% over the 254,636 units shipped during the same time last year.

All towable RVs, led by conventional travel trailers, totaled 28,996 units for the month, an increase of 17% compared to the 24,784 units shipped in July 2016.  Year-to-date totals for towable RVs are up 13.6% to 252,640 units.

June motorhome shipments are up 10.5% to 3,940 units over last year; paced by strong gains in the Type B and C market.  Year-to-date motorhome shipments have reached 36,726 units on 13.6% growth over the 32,337 units shipped during the same time last year.
