RV Shipments in June 2018

Summary

The RV Industry Association’s June survey of manufacturers found RV wholesale shipments finished at 41,990, a decrease of (-11.4%) from the 47,416 units shipped last June.

All towable RVs, led by conventional travel trailers, totaled 37,784 units for the month, a decrease of (-10.5%) compared to last June’s towable RV shipment total of 42,240.

Motorhomes ended June with 4,206 shipments to retailers, down (-18.7%) compared to last June’s total of 5,176.

Year-to-date wholesale shipments are currently at 271,588 up 5.9% compared to this point last year.  Towable RVs are up 6.6% to 238,502 units.  Motorhome shipments are up 0.9% to 33,086 units.

Park Model RVs ended the month with 287 wholesale shipments, down (-27.5%) compared to last June.  Year-to-date, Park Model RVs are down (-5.3%) compared to this point last year with 2,112 shipments.
