Go RVing Spotlight: Stephanie And Jeremy Puglisi

Jun 17, 2019

Nearly a decade ago, Stephanie and Jeremy Puglisi couldn’t even tell you the difference between a travel trailer and a motorized RV. Now, the parents of three couldn’t imagine their lives without RVing having spent over a thousand nights at hundreds of campgrounds from coast to coast.

More than three years ago, Go RVing stumbled upon Stephanie and Jeremy’s podcast and Instagram account which initiated a fruitful partnership which has included projects such as blog posts, podcasts, Facebook Live videos, appearances in television ads, RV show appearances and much more. From campground reviews to down to earth perspectives on purchasing new RVs, Go RVing’s partnership with the Puglisis has become a tremendous resource to the RV community.

It’s clear they’ve come a long way from their early RVing days where they knew very little to becoming experts in the field as they travel the nation with their three boys in tow, creating wonderful family memories along the way.

After first purchasing a pop-up trailer nearly 10 years ago, the Puglisis have since settled into their travel trailer but have expertise with various types. Their time spent on the road earned them a wealth of knowledge and comfort over time in which they accumulated insight on RV campgrounds to share with fellow RVers and the industry at large.

“When the spring weather starts to arrive in the northeast, we love to hightail it down to the Carolina coastal region for our first beach camping trip of the year,” says Stephanie. “The coastal area from Myrtle Beach to Charleston to as far as Savannah, Ga., has so many amazing campgrounds. We always struggle to decide whether we will visit a new campground or return to one of our favorites from a past trip.” With their permanent home in New Jersey, this trek down the coast is their favorite way to kick off a new season of camping.

These campground experts know exactly what to look for when booking and they offer sound advice to their loyal listeners and readers interested in exploring new places. It all starts with what the family loves to do and what’s most important to them.

“Our boys inspire us to stay active for sure!” said Jeremy. “As a family, we love riding bikes at the campground. All three of our boys learned to ride bikes at campgrounds - far from home. We also look for campgrounds with launches for kayaks and stand up paddle boards,” adding that as their boys have gotten older, they are more likely to book at state and national parks than the RV resorts they sought when they were younger.

However, in this day and age, the Puglisis know that RVers are expecting much more than great locations when booking campgrounds. They’ve experienced everything from water parks to escape rooms to swim-up bars all from within the confines of RV campgrounds. Stephanie recalls, “Another memorable amenity was a coastal campground in Oregon that loaned out crab traps and then had a cleaning and cooking station available for guests.” Not all campgrounds are created equal, and this family knows what works and what doesn’t from their countless camping expeditions, as well as talking to others.

As the world of RVing continues to expand and evolve, it is a great feeling to have friends like Jeremy and Stephanie Puglisi to serve as knowledgeable guides to the Go RVing audience. They serve as great examples of how the RV lifestyle strengthens family bonds, forges learning opportunities and facilitates an affordable vacation.
