Lance Camper Donates Personal Protection Equipment
In acknowledgment of the nationwide shortage of personal protection equipment (PPE) Lance Camper, a Recreational Vehicle Manufacturer and REV Group company based in Lancaster, CA has donated their available supply of PPE to the Antelope Valley Regional Hospital serving East LA County and the cities of Palmdale and Lancaster.
“Our initial focus was to protect the health and wellbeing of Lance’s 500+ associates and families. With the successful implementation of an emergency action plan, the focus turned towards our suppliers, customers and local community. The widely publicized shortage of PPE was Lance’s opportunity to support the courageous first responders and medical professionals within our Antelope Valley Community. As a safety conscious manufacturer, we had many of the needed PPE items on hand, and the Lance Leadership Team was eager to donate these critically needed resources,” states Matt Buckman, Vice President and General Manager at Lance.
The Antelope Valley Regional Hospital was contacted and a plan to transfer the critically needed supplies were coordinated and completed. “We are so grateful to Lance Camper for their generous donation of PPE to be used by our staff in this critical time as we continue to ramp up the battle against COVID-19 in the Antelope Valley,” adds Staff Services in Administration for Antelope Valley Hospital.
