RV Industry Leaders To Be Recognized At RVX: The RV Experience

After a successful event in 2017 in which the entire industry came together to support each other and honor the brands promoted by this $50 billion industry, the RV Industry Awards are scheduled to return at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, at the Depot in Salt Lake City to recognize industry achievement, leadership and the contributions of various individuals and companies.
The second annual event held during RVX: The RV Experience, will be a marquee moment featuring several industry awards including RVDA’s Dealer Satisfaction Index (DSI), Quality Circle Awards, RVBusiness Magazine’s RISE Awards™ for suppliers, the David J. Humphreys RV Industry Unity Award, the Distinguished Service to the RV Industry Award and the second annual 40 Under 40 presentation coordinated by the RV Industry Association.
Based on the results of RVDA’s Dealer Satisfaction Index survey, commonly known as the DSI, the RVDA Quality Circle Awards will recognize manufacturers rated highest by their respective dealers in several important areas of dealer and customer support. Six motorized manufacturers and seven towable builders will be recognized at the event based on dealer satisfaction regarding reliability and quality, parts, warranty and sales.
“RVDA is looking forward to participating in this event dedicated to celebrating high achievers in the RV industry,” said RVDA President Phil Ingrassia. “It will also be a great opportunity to network with friends and business colleagues at the conclusion of RVX.”
The first-ever RVBusiness RISE Awards™ will recognize supplier innovation and will showcase the best and most innovative new products marketed by RV component suppliers for the 2019 model year. RISE Award winners were selected by a panel of knowledgeable industry insiders based on innovation, functionality, customer acceptance, competitive impact, performance measures and other criteria.
“This being the first year for our RISE Awards, we quite frankly were overwhelmed with the response we received as nearly 70 entries were turned in by supplier companies," said RVBusiness Publisher Sherm Goldenberg. “Even more impressive was the level of innovation exhibited by the products that were submitted. We often heard from our independent judges of how difficult it was to make their selections.”
The Distinguished Service to the RV Industry Award is presented to an individual within the RV industry who has set himself or herself apart by outstanding service and the David J Humphreys RV Industry Unity Award was established by the RV Industry Association to recognize an individual who continuously strives to encourage the multiple constituencies of the RV industry to work collectively for the growth and betterment of the industry. Both of these awards will be presented by the RV Industry Association during the event.
Finally, winners of the second annual 40 under 40 Awards, identifying current and future leaders in the RV industry who are under 40 years of age, will be recognized. These 40 individuals have been selected for exhibiting potential to help advance the RV industry by striving to make a difference in their organization.
