Windish RV Donates 5,000 To 10 Non-Profit Organizations
Windish RV Center ended 2021 with a focus on charitable support by providing 10 $5,000 donations to employee-chosen local and national non-profit organizations.
A total of $50,000 was split evenly among Rocky Mountain PBS, Foothills Animal Shelter, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Denver, the American Diabetes Association, SafeHouse Denver, the American Cancer Society, the Interstitial Cystitis Association, Judi’s House, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and Reach Out and Read.
“As a local family-owned and operated business, we understand the importance of giving back to our community,” stated Windish RV general manager, Corey Shaw. “These contributions mark the continuation of our decades-long commitment to supporting the Colorado community and beyond.”
The donations were gifted as a collaboration between the family-owned and operated RV dealership and its employees. Carolyn Irwin, Windish RV co-owner, and Whitney Holtz, company president, invited staff members at all three of its Colorado locations to select ten non-profit organizations for the company to support. Employees were encouraged to choose charitable causes that held personal significance.
“Family is at the heart of what we do,” stated Holtz. “Our employees are a part of our family, so it is important to us that we support causes that are important to them.”
