Summary

RVIA’s February survey of manufacturers found RV wholesale shipments finished at 43,038, an increase of 9.2% from the 39,428 units shipped last February.  The February 2018 shipment total is the best February on comparable record.

All towable RVs, led by conventional travel trailers, totaled 37,481 units for the month, an increase of 10.8% compared to last February’s towable RV shipment total of 33,822.

February motorhome shipments fell slightly this month being down (-0.9%) compared to last February with 5,557 wholesale shipments being reported.

Year-to-date wholesale shipments are currently at 85,479, up 16.6% compared to this point last year.  Towable RVs are up 18.1% to 74,103 units.  Motorhome shipments are up 8.0% to 11,376 through the first two months of 2018.
