Content Specialist
Job Duties
The Content Specialist assists in the development of creative digital content that positions the RV Industry Association and Go RVing as thought-leader and leading voice on the benefits and enjoyment of RVing. The position plays an important role in industry marketing efforts on enterprise website channels, ensuring positive user experiences by strategizing best content presentation, editing, refreshing and uploading of new video and written content, and monitoring back-end web analytics. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Assists in the implementation of creative marketing strategies aimed at increasing engagement on RV Industry Association owned websites. Ensures brand consistency, quality, and tone of voice for all channels of content across the website and social media properties.
- Ensures brand consistency, quality, and tone of voice for all channels of content across the website and social media properties. Assists in maintaining the Go RVing, RV Industry Association and RV Technical Institute websites, Blogs and email platforms, creating digital and visual content designed to drive brand awareness, and ensure a user-friendly experience. Monitors association websites for technical and programmatic issues including broken links, inappropriate content, and load issues. Assists members with obtaining credentials to access content behind the wall in industry-only sections.
- Assists with monitoring social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, by engaging with audience and partners when appropriate, removing inappropriate content, and flagging unauthorized use of proprietary content.
- Assists RV Industry Association’s signature programs in achieving their program marketing goals by developing branded print/digital content. Manages photo and video asset repository that promotes programmatic and lifestyle activities.
- Assists as needed with curating data pulls from the Go RVing leads database.
Required Skills and Experience
- Candidate must be able to work in a deadline driven environment while maintaining a proactive, positive, service-oriented attitude. Excellent time management skills are required.
- This job requires an individual who is a self-starter with a customer first approach to their daily tasks.
- Candidate must possess strong written and verbal communications skills, with an ability to present their work clearly and effectively. They must have a strong attention to detail and accuracy, with an ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and in a timely manner.
- This position requires proficiency with Microsoft Office with experience in Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Creative Suite, as well as common CMS/AMS systems such as Drupal and Salesforce. Experience with photography, videography, and video editing preferred.
- Qualified candidates would possess familiarity with content management systems, social platforms, SEO, and the ability to create interesting and compelling content across a variety of media types.
