Protection of RV Slide out Propane Lines

The purpose of this document is to provide information about flexible gas hoses that bring propane to appliances located in the slide out portion of a recreation vehicle.

Please note that the information presented here does not provide the only methods of protecting Propane lines in a slide out. It is intended to be used as a guide for protection. There are many methods that can, and do, provide the required protection and that follow NFPA 1192 RV Standard 2021 Edition.
